Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance Guidelines
Assistance is awarded on the basis of financial need.
Assistance is dependent on the level of funding available each year.
Assistance is not guaranteed for all applicants.
Assistance will not normally exceed 50% of tuition.
Assistance applicants must be Canadian residents.
Applications for financial assistance must be submitted each year.
Applications for financial assistance are processed and evaluated by Apple Financial Services.
Apple Financial Services makes funding recommendations to the MBCI Financial Assistance Committee, who determines final assistance amounts.
Assistance will be communicated no later than June 30th each year prior to the start of the following school year.
For students not completing the school year, Assistance will be pro-rated. Assistance will be deducted from the payor’s account according to the payment plan chosen.
Special or sudden changes in circumstances during the school year will be considered on a case by case basis.
All information is kept strictly confidential.
New for the 2012/13 School Year
All financial assistance applications will be processed and evaluated by Apple Financial Services, a third party company specializing in the administration of secondary school financial assistance management. To submit your application for the 2012/13 school year, please log onto AFS’s website at www.applefinancialservices.ca/ . You can save your application and return to it at a later date. Once completed you will be required to provide a non-refundable application fee of $75, via credit card, at the time of submission. This fee is payable directly to AFS to cover the charges AFS levies to process and evaluate the application.
Applications can be submitted beginning April 17th. The deadline for applying, (including the submission of all required documents, i.e. Notices of Assessment, etc.) is May 21st.
