Grade 6 & 7

2011/12 Season

Developmental team goals:

• to teach fundamental basketball skills to grade 6/7 players recognizing that there are a variety of levels of experience.
• to create a transition from community based basketball programs to school based competition.

All players committed to practice will be kept. A roster rotation will be established for tournaments. The grade 6/7 boys developmental basketball team will participate in RETSD (River East Transcona School Division) mini-tournaments and several weekend tournaments. The team will average 3 practices a week. Tournaments replace a practice.
