Parent Advisory Council
All interested parents are invited to join us one evening every two months to discuss issues related to school life. The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is the group that acts as a liaison between administration and other parents.
If you have any questions about PAC please "contact the school office. We are looking forward to a good year and would appreciate your involvement.
Parent Advisory Council Volunteer Opportunities
The Parent Advisory Council supports many activities at the school. The following are events where parent volunteers are needed to help students, and staff throughout the school year.
- SCHOOL OPENING PROGRAM – Parents serve treats following the concert as people exit the program. It is a great way to kick off the school year.
- TEACHER CHRISTMAS APPRECIATION – As parents we know the time and effort the teachers put in to the school. Volunteers do some baking to give the staff a treat as they start the Christmas season.
- THE OPEN HOUSE – Parent volunteers are important to the success of this event. Some serve cookies and coffee, some answer visitor questions some even give school tours.
- GRANDPARENTS DAY – Parent volunteers assist in set up and serving the grandparents coffee and lunch.
- END OF THE YEAR TEACHER APPRECIATION LUNCH – Parent volunteers plan and serve lunch for the staff. It is a way to say thanks for a great year.
