Canoe Trip

The Wilderness cliub began the 2011-2012 school year with a fall campout.  Fifteen students participated in one overnight in the Whiteshell Provincial Park, at Rainbow Falls, on Sept 30 - Oct 1..  We had a cool night, but everyone was well prepared.  On Saturday we hiked the Pine Point Rapids Trail, and saw the Bannock Point Petroforms.  We stopped at Otter Falls to roast hot dogs before heading back home.  Everyone had a great time.

GRADE 12 CANOE TRIP - May 24 - 27 Our first meeting on Jan 17 showed a lot of interest with approx 40 students in attendance.  Since then about 13 students have brought a deposit to hold their spot.  The deposit is refundable until Spring Breeak.

We will have another meeting in mid February.  At this meeting the students willbe given a parent consent form.  There will be a parent information night in mid-March, and an afternoon at the pool for interested students.
