My name is Mike Neufeld and this is my 16th year teaching at MBCI. I have the honour this year of dealing with grade 11 and 12 students. My hope this year is that students will gain an appreciation for the fact that whoever or whatever they are now has been shaped by what went on in the past. There is a delightful tension in teaching many who are followers of Christ and Canadian citizens in how to understand these realities. Can they exist side by side without tension or compromise? So I look forward to discovering with my students who we were, what we thought and believed, and how that has shaped who we are today.
