Every student has a voice. Our goal at MBCI is to walk alongside students in developing the character and skills they will need to discover their own voice and to raise it with integrity.
Leadership will look different from student to student as will the strategies they choose to express their voices. For some, leadership may look like taking on a public role in planning school events with Student Council or League of Leaders, participating in the Student Worship Team, speaking in chapel, or serving as captain of a team. For others leadership might take a different form like modeling constructive behaviour, taking on added responsibility in a project, or offering quiet support to someone who is struggling.
Regardless of differences in personality and giftedness, we know that effective leadership is best communicated in the context of relationships and servanthood, and that all students have the capacity to grow in leadership ability.
