Class of '55

June 11, 2015, proved to be a delightful highlight for 14 MBCI alumni and their spouses as they celebrated an “event packed” one day gathering marking the 60th year of their graduation from MBCI. Four members of the original class of 20 regrettably couldn’t attend and two former classmates have passed away. Following a noon “meet, greet, and eat” event, and a side show of antique cars belonging to one of our classmates, we were treated to a wonderful tour of our alma mater. How we would have loved to have had the present day MBCI facilities during our tenure in the 1950’s. The evening festivities shifted to the home of Bill & Margaret Fast where we enjoyed a catered meal and an evening program of a variety of events, lavishly laced with a lot of fun, laughter and general enjoyment. In thankfulness to God and to MBCI, the celebrants of the “Class of ‘55” contributed $3200 towards the reduction of the capital debt of the school we love. The names of each of the 20 graduates have been engraved in the bricks of the MBCI Legacy Walkway, marking our gratitude for our school.
