Bursaries

MBCI’s Bursary Program seeks to offer affordable education to all families through full and partial remission of tuition for families with demonstrated financial need. Assessment of financial need is based on cost of living specific to region and economic family size as published by Statistics Canada. It also considers applicants’ net worth.

To award bursaries in a consistent manner, the MBCI application procedure includes a standardized application form and financial need evaluation model to serve as a baseline. The procedure includes applicant interviews to ensure unique or extraordinary circumstances, such as illness or job loss, will also be recognized when assessing financial need.

Bursary funding is available for tuition only and does not include Transportation, Athletic/Music fees, Trips/Tours or any other school-related fees.

Applicants are also expected to make a financial contribution toward the cost of tuition and at a minimum the $500 non-refundable tuition deposit per student.

The bursary application process is separate from the admissions process and is available to Canadian residents only. Applications must be submitted each year and funding one year does not guarantee funding the following year(s).

Applicants who withdraw during the school year forfeit their bursary funding.
