MBCI TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM
MBCI is pleased to offer transportation services to all eligible students through a partially subsidized in-house transportation program, serving many geographical locations in Winnipeg and beyond. Our current routes include service to East/West St. Paul, Maples/North Main Street, Sage Creek/Island Lakes, Lindenwoods & Beausejour and the surrounding area. Other routes will be added based on adequate demand and we encourage all families interested in transportation, to apply for service, regardless of home address.
The transportation program is an annual service, with return or 1-way (either AM or PM) options, every day that school is in session, including exam periods. Fees must be paid in full prior to service delivery and are non-refundable and ineligible for bursary funding.
Scheduled arrival time at school is 8:20 am and departure at 3:40 pm. We strive to keep ride times to a maximum of 1 hour in length but actual routes and proximity to the school may extend that in some cases.
We highly value the privilege of serving MBCI families through the transportation program and the safety and well-being of your children while in our care is our top priority. During the Covid-19 pandemic we are adhering to public health protocols such as daily self-screening, hand sanitization prior to boarding, the wearing of masks at all times, seating plans, attendance records and daily sanitization of all vehicles.
Furthermore, MBCI employs qualified drivers and regularly maintains its fleet of vehicles to ensure your child’s safety at all times. Our drivers also ensure that MBCI’s Code of Conduct is adhered to at all times in order to ensure a friendly and comfortable environment for all students. Behavior that is detrimental to the well-being of others is not tolerated and can result in service disruption and/or discontinuation without refund.
Please review our Code of Conduct as found in the Student Handbook available in Edsby which applies to all students whenever using school-provided transportation for daily service as well as any other school related field trips and/or tours.
We review our routes and program annually to ensure we are offering the best service possible and make every effort to provide door-to-door service for the majority of applicants. However, in some situations corner or centralized pick-up may be required and is subject to change from year to year.
