Refund Policy

Study Permit related Withdrawals

  • If a student is denied a study permit, all fees with the exception of the application fee $200 and the Home Stay Placement fee of $500 will be refunded.
  • An official letter from Citizenship Immigration Canada showing proof of refusal is required.

Non-Study Permit related Withdrawals

  • Written notification of withdrawals received by April 30 prior to the start of the school year, will be eligible for a refund of all fees with the exception of an administration fee of $1,000, application fee of $200, the Home Stay Placement fee of $500 and other homestay fees of $1,500 (2 months)
  • Refunds will not be issued for withdrawal requests received after April 30 prior to the start of the school year or in the case of dismissal of the student during the course of the academic year.   
  • In the event of serious illness or death incurred by the student or their immediate family member that necessitates the student returning and remaining in their home country during the academic year, a pro-rated refund will be issued for the full months remaining in the school year, with the exception of an administration fee of $1,000, application fee of $200, Home Stay Placement fee of $500 and monthly Home Stay fees paid for months that have already transpired (full or partial).  Written confirmation by a physician is required.
  • In the event of serious illness or death of the student or their immediate family member prior to the start of the school year, a refund will be issued with the exception on an administration fee of $1,000, application fee of $200 and the Home Stay Placement fee of $500. Written confirmation by a physician is required.
